Andrew Elkins
Physician Assistant

 Andrew Elkins Andrew (Drew) Elkins is a board-certified Physician Assistant with 10+ years of experience in orthopedics. Drew grew up in central Virginia and graduated cum laude from Bridgewater College with a bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. His passion for orthopedics stemmed from his own need for Tommy John surgery and a successful recovery that allowed him to continue his baseball career at the collegiate level where he pitched, played first base, and served as captain on the Bridgewater baseball team. Before relocating to northern Virginia, Drew attended graduate school at Jefferson College of Health Sciences in Roanoke, Virginia where he obtained his Master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies.

In January 2022 Drew joined Town Center Orthopedic Associates with Dr. Ryan Miyamoto. Together they specialize in sports medicine including rotator cuff tears, shoulder instability, ACL injuries, meniscus and cartilage damage, labral tears and femoroacetabular impingement of the hip, as well as shoulder replacement surgery. When he’s not at work Drew enjoys traveling, golfing, and riding the Peloton. Drew resides in Herndon, VA with his wife, two boys, and their beloved dog Jax.

Brooke Frisbie
Physician Assistant

Brooke Frisbie Brooke Frisbie is a board-certified physician assistant specializing in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine at Town Center Orthopaedics. A native of Winchester, Virginia, Brooke is excited to return to her home state and join Dr. Miyamoto's team. She is passionate about helping patients recover from injury, return to the activities they love, and maintain active lifestyles.

Brooke earned her Bachelor of Science in Biobehavioral Health from Penn State University and her Master of Medical Science from Arcadia University. She began her career in orthopaedics before spending the past five years specializing in neurosurgery and peripheral nerve surgery, including time at Duke. Her diverse surgical background has given her extensive experience caring for patients with complex musculoskeletal and neurologic conditions.

Having participated in sports throughout her life, Brooke has a particular interest in sports medicine and enjoys working with athletes of all ages and activity levels. She believes excellent care begins with listening to her patients, understanding their individual goals, and involving them in their treatment decisions.

Outside of work, Brooke enjoys spending time outdoors, staying active, cheering on Penn State, and spending time with her husband and children.
